We finally cut into it.
Like using the fine China
without a holiday.

We must write them.
Send salted Virginia peanuts
in the tin. We plot. Make
special coffee. Add some ham
on rye. Some mustard!

We forget it’s Tuesday.
Forget what a Baby Swiss will do
in autumn at 3am.
